Address is Approximate brings to the forefront the disconnect between real and virtual spaces. The project focuses on three scenarios observed within Google Street View: scenes involving a single person, multiple individuals, and photographic anomalies unique to the Google Street View capture process. Scenes selected from the online database are then re-photographed and presented in a formal exhibition setting. This re-contextualization brings a tangible experience back to the virtual, yet seemingly authentic experience of geographic reality.
